This LJ is for my character Andoran at Red Star Passes Mush and will focus on log postings and intermittent updates about Andoran from an IC-perspective.

Andoran is a Journeyman Harper. He was formerly posted at Keroon Hold under Master Firik after completing his training at Harper Hall. He is a quiet, easy-going sort of person, polite and cheerful, but not very outgoing.

OOC info: Andoran is usually available for scenes on Monday and Wednesday evenings Pacific and flexible for scheduling time on weekends.

Description:
There's just one thing about this young man that is definitely remarkable. His
hair. It stands up in a dark, curly halo around his head, generally untamed
though at times he does bind it back out of his way. The rest of him is
pleasant enough to look at: his round brown face showcases a pair of hazel
eyes, straight nose and full lips that might even be considered handsome,
except that he's carrying a few extra pounds that muddle his features and make
him seem babyfaced. This also makes it difficult to pinpoint his age just by
looking at him, though a good guess would probably place him in his
mid-twenties. About average in height, there's a definite softness to his
mid-section that speaks of a fondness for good food.

Inspiration for the character: The scene in Firefly from the episode "Jaynestown" where Book emerges from the bathing room with his hair loose and spooks River. "Too much hair!"

Andoran is in some ways, my take on what a young Book might have been like before whatever mysteries happened in his life to yield the character we knew on Firefly. This is only a framework however, for building the character up and he may go in directions that I wouldn't have expected ... which is of course, half the fun.
